Save Configuration to Flash
You should save (burn) the current configuration of a device to the device's flash memory (nonvolatile) before performing a Reset action (see Restart Device) or before powering down, in order to ensure configuration changes you made are retained.
Saving configuration to flash may disrupt current traffic on the device. To avoid this, disable all new traffic before saving, by performing a graceful lock (see Lock Device).

1. | From the Actions drop-down, choose Configuration > Save Configuration to Flash. |
2. | Click Save Configuration. |
